What I’m Wearin’…
I don’t own very many sneakers. Don’t get me wrong, I love them. I’m just usually very tough on them (CURSE MY WIDE FEET!) and they never look all that great on me, so I don’t spend a lot of money on them. But, I thought rockin’ some high tops would be a great way to kick off the end of the year!
This was a casual day of hitting the mall before Christmas! Of course I was gonna wear comfortable shoes! #crowdssuck

What I’m Hearin’…
Merry Christmas my sweeties! I hope you guys are stuffed with lots of great food and lots of family fellowship! I wanted to leave you guys with my top favorite Christmas songs!
Christmas Time is Here with The Peanuts! I loved this as a child and still do!
Mariah Carey with All I Want for Christmas is You. I actually listen to this song all year ‘round. It’s a great song to East Coast Swing to! Yep! Ya didn’t know the duchess dabbled in some ballroom dancing, didja? LOL
This song reminds me of growing up in the 90s! Music was so much better then! Enjoy TLC with Sleigh Ride!
Brenda Lee with I’m Gonna Lasso Santa Claus. I think this song is so cute! I’d love to sing it to some kids! My kids at work are too bad though! LOL
I absolutely love this song! It’s another one that I listen to all year ‘round! I hope you guys love it as much as I do! Whitney Houston & The Georgia Mass Choir with Joy to the World!
The goddess does Christmas! Eartha Kitt with Santa Baby!
Remember loves,
“Let us keep Christmas beautiful without a thought of greed, that it might live forevermore to fill our every need, that it shall not be just a day, but last a lifetime through, the miracle of Christmas time that brings God close to you.” ~ Ann Schultz

Let’s have a little fun, why don’t we? I love this song by Cher Lloyd. I remember her from the reality TV series The X Factor. Her rendition of Soulja Boy’s Swag On completely stole my heart and the heart of the judges, even though she placed fourth. I’m gonna post it at the bottom of this. But for now, please enjoy Cher Lloyd with With Ur Love.

For some reason, it wouldn’t embed. Ahh well!

What I’m Lovin’…
Hey guys! Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE LOVE LOVE scarves! I buy one every chance I get and I’ve got tons that I haven’t even worn yet. Funny thing though, I rarely wear them around my neck like most people do. I love them in my hair, I love them tied unto my handbags, I love them folded up and made into a brooch, I love them as bracelets or just about anywhere! I’ve decided that I’m going to start wearing them around my neck more so I dug online for some tutorials on fun, new and interesting ways to tie them and came across this gem! Check it out!
Meet Wendy from Wendy’s Lookbook!
Her videos and blog are so fun and informative and her editing (which surprisingly is a team of just her and her boyfriend, Mystery Man) is flawless! Watching her videos are like watching a magic show. Even though she isn’t plus sized and she certainly does more high end shopping than I do, she’s one of my favorite bloggers now when it comes to style inspiration. She’s so chic, cute and silly, plus her tips can work for any woman, or any budget, at any size, anywhere! I’m definitely lovin’ Wendy!
For more fun, fashionable, and informative videos, please check out her YouTube channel by clicking the pic below…

Go by her Facebook Fanpage and show her some Lovin’ there too!
Here are a couple more of my favorite videos from her. They’re definitely worth the view! I promise!
Fashion takes Courage! So totally agree!

I experimented a bit with this look. This was the first time in a long while that I went out with red lips. I usually do a nude shade but I wanted to try something new. I also made the ring that I’m wearing and I got a lot of compliments on it during the night. What do you think?

What I’m Hearin’…
Man, I really miss the girl groups of the 90s! Remember En Vogue, Brownstone, Jade, SWV, Total, and so many others? When did the execs in charge decide that girl groups weren’t as profitable anymore? I miss this harmony sound and coordinating outfits! lol I’m probably going to be killing this genre for a while!
**Leave me a comment and tell me, what was your favorite girl group?**
I’d have to say that my favorite was En Vogue so, please enjoy one of my favorite songs by my favorite girls, My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It).
And check it out, 20 years later and they’re still HOT!
