What I’m Tryin’…
Hey guys! Do you all remember the cosmetic launch party for Misheke Cosmetics that I attended in Atlanta a while back?
Michele, the lovely founder of Misheke Cosmetics sent me an awesome surprise in the mail shortly afterwards! I love event swag, it’s the bestest! Check out my newest goodies!
(eek! My nail polish is a bit chipped! Please overlook, lovelies!)
I am entirely too nosy to not try my new products out right away! All four were shimmery colors. The first was a deep pink, the second (right top) was a silvery grey, the third (bottom left) was a bluish grey, and the fourth (bottom right) was a pretty deep purple. The prices for the different eye shadows are between $10 to $15 so I’m not sure how much for this entire palette.
You can see here that the compact had a huge mirror on it which is awesome! One of my major pet peeves with cosmetics is when they put a tiny little mirror in a compact!
The product was a bit light on my skin color so I had to put quite a bit on but that’s okay. With most cosmetics, a light sweep just won’t do for me.
I used the deep pink as a lid color, the deep purple as a contour color in my crease, and the silvery grey as a highlighter on my browbone. After blending, here’s how it all looked on me!
Next I tried the Lipgloss! Everyone who knows me know that I love glosses. I usually keep about five in my purse on any given day. The Gloss was not overly shimmery which I’m glad for since I’m over 30. It gave pretty good coverage and wasn’t too thin or too thick. The price is about $12.50.
Did it do what it promised?: 5/5.
Quality product?: 4/5.
Pleasing color?: 4/5.
Appealing packaging?: 4/5.
Worth the price?: 4/5.
Purchase Again?: I would defnitely purchase the deeper eyeshadows.
4.2 out of 5

What I’m Lovin’…
Soooo, a marketing representative from Dots Clothing Stores and asked me to visit a location in College Park, Atlanta to check out the remodeling of their stores. They also sent me a gift card to make a purchase which was so nice! Here are some shots of my visit!
One of the lovely managers.
Plus section. Win Win!
I fell in love with this color block dress. I should have purchased it. boooo me :o(
Here’s what I purchased with my gift card! I’m all about hot accessories these days!
A cute scarf that I wore to work the next week.
I love the long fashion rings so when I saw this I knew i had to get it!
They even had plus sized bangles! Almost every plus sized princess struggles to find bangles that fit chunky hands! lol
Aren’t these colors gorgeous?! I can’t wait to start wearing them!
More fun in the store!
