Are usually love this place. Every time I go to Atlanta I want to go to benihanas and have some of that delicious hibachi food. This time we had a horrible experience and will most likely not be returning. We went on a sunday and we understand that after church they will most likely be a wait.

I used to love this place. But now I go in and I don't even buy anything. My first visit here ever was in April of 2014 and I fell in love with this place. The fruit here was so big and juicy and beautiful and delicious. I would come every time I came into town. But lately the fruit is not as good and there was even mold on the blackberries. I still go in sometimes hoping that things will be like they used to be but I'm usually disappointed. Perhaps after some time I will update this review but for now I am just not pleased like I used to be.

The only thing that is really good about this restaurant is the amount of food for the price. The quality of the food is not all that great but you do get a lot of food for your buck so that's always decent. I usually end up getting something that includes their chicken tenders. On my last visit I got the chicken alfredo and instead of the grilled chicken I got the fried chicken tenders. It was edible but it wasn't something that I truly enjoyed.

My mom however, loves the place and always wants to go when we head in that direction. She enjoys the Sweet Heat Chicken and the salad that comes with it. She always has enough to take home for a second meal so she loves that. The drinks here are excellent though!  They have their unique drinks and they are not too strong and not too weak. I've enjoyed some drink that they have that's like a wedding drink full of whipped cream and some other stuff I can't remember but it was very tasty. So if you're not looking to spend a lot of money and you're in the market for fairly decent food then visit Cheddar's and be sure to have a drink or two.

I spent Valentine's Day with my one true love, SHOPPING!!  :o)  First stop was Clothes Mentor in Savannah, GA.  I loved this place.  They've got a well organized selection and it was easy to find my size.  The staff was amazingly friend and very informative about their consignment process.  Next stop was Designer Consignments.

My Valentine's Day outfit.  :o)  It fit very well with the Speakeasy theme of The House of Mata Hari.

I finally went to Savannah Smiles dueling pianos. I have heard so much about this place from friends and coworkers so one night while walking on River Street, I decided to go inside. The atmosphere was was fun. It was a little crowded but not too bad. I went on a Saturday night, the Saturday that was Valentine's Day actually. The crowd isn't very diverse and neither was the music but still very enjoyable.  There were a couple of songs that I knew and found myself singing along.

This is the infamous bar where all of the music is played on 2 baby grand pianos in the front while everyone sings along.  I don't know what it is about that concept, but it makes you sing songs you normally wouldn't even listen to because hearing it on the piano is so much fun! I was only there for about 25 minutes and I didn't order any food or any drinks. So I can't comment on that but I enjoyed the music and even heard Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice on the piano while I was there. That alone made it totally worth the $5 cover charge! Definitely recommend checking out this establishment.

Sweetie got me an organic food basket for valentines day and I loved it! He opted for the gift basket filled with organic apples, organic oranges, organic pears, banana chips, dried cranberries and organic fruit bars. The gift box shipped fedex and it arrived the day that they said that it would. All of the fruit tasted great! It was so fresh and pretty that I hated to start eating it but I knew that I had too and I am glad that I did because it was excellent! When I first opened up the beautiful basket better came and I thought, this is the pretty big basket for such a little bit of fruit. But, I dug a little more and found that there were fruit all at the bottom too. How clever! It was a pleasant surprise. If your honey likes organic food items then definitely consider sending a gift from this company. My sweetie was very proud of himself. Lol Very lovely.

This club is one of savannahs hidden jewels. I've never heard of this establishment and neither did a lot of people in Savannah. I had to ask for directions several times. The club is on River Street and even people who worked on River Street had no idea what I was talking about! Lol I got a little frustrated but I'm glad that I stuck with it and found the spot because I was really impressed with what I saw when I entered.

Apparently there is a concept of having a key which will gain you access to the club, kind of putting you in the mind of the Prohibition period. I wasn't aware of the key thing so I can't speak about that. However, this club has a roaring twenties/thirties and perhaps even forties theme.  I have walked into places that have tried to make this happen and I think to myself, oh okay I see what they're doing here. But when I walked into the house of Mata Hari it was a MAJOR blast into the past as soon as I hit the door! It made my eyes widen and I really enjoyed that! Lol Perhaps that was because I didn't know anything about the club before entering so the change in scenery was delightfully jarring.

It's very dark inside like you would expect . There weren't really any tables just a lot of easy chairs, sofas and coffee tables. We were welcomed with a song sung live on stage. Now, I had come to this club because I saw an advertisement for a performance of He Loves Me, He Loves Me Hot, a burlesque performance on the DOSavannah app on my phone. I remember thinking, how is an entire burlesque performance going to fit on this tiny stage? But I ordered my drink and had a seat. Then the DJ started calling names for ticket holders. They opened a door behind the stage and had us enter to be seated. How sneaky! I loved it!

There, we were treated to the burlesque show as promised. Unfortunately, I could not snap any photos during the show but I really did enjoy it. The dancers performed about 7 or 8 songs and it was very steamy. The ladies and gentleman were HOTT! So glad that I decided to give this performance a chance as a last minute outing on a single girl's Valentine's Day. Not bad for $20!
During the performance we were really taken care of. the two hosts were quirky and funny and really kept things rolling. The waitresses were prompt with ordering drinks and bringing them to us. I had a rum and coke which might have been the best rum and coke I've ever had. Very tasty- not too strong and not too weak.

Even the bathroom was fun!
