Event Recap: Art of Time Ensemble, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Yet another awesome performance at the Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center!   We're right smack dab in the middle of the 2015 - 2016 season and the shows keep getting better and better!  Art of Time Ensemble - Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was the latest show that I attended.

Art of Time Ensemble combines singers from the pop and rock world -Steven Page (Barenaked Ladies), Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), Andy Maize (Skydiggers), and Craig Northey (The Odds) for a "reimagining" of the Beatles’ ground-breaking album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band backed by world-class musicians.  It's an incredible musical performance with lots of magical surprises!
Before the show guests were treated to a 60s-themed reception in the lobby. Guests were allowed to dress up in their favorite sixties inspired look and take a pic with the photo booth.  Everyone had a blast from the past- especially the staff of the Performing Arts Center who dressed in their 60s garb! As for the show, the beautiful arrangement of the Beatles music with absolutely breathtaking. I knew that I would kick myself for walking away without grabbing a CD but I really wanted a copy that had the first song the ensemble performed on there which was Strawberry Fields, perhaps my favorite Beatles song.  Maybe I'll look for a copy on Amazon or something.  Anyway please enjoy the photos and leave me a comment telling me your favorite Beatles song!

How cute is this?  A mini Lennon!!!

PAC Staff is in on all the 60s fun!
